The living room has a wonderful inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove (wood provided), a window seat overlooking the front lawn and an exposed central beam.

The dual aspect kitchen overlooks a rear garden and spacious south facing patio. It has hand painted units and granite work surfaces and the original blue lias floor. The kitchen easily seats eight for dining. The appliances provided include fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave and a washing machine in a separate laundry cupboard.

There are three generous double bedrooms all with exposed beams and the front two rooms have the original elm panelling as well as hard wood floors. The bedrooms provide one king sized double, one standard double, and a twin room. There are two family bathrooms, one boasting a roll top bath.

There is a large downstairs shower room with wc, convenient for use by the household as well as to be used by the occupants of the additional ground floor bedroom which is ideal for either 2 children or an older relation.

The cottage has a front lawn and large private enclosed south facing patio, overlooking the neighbouring field. On a hot summers day this would be perfect for al fresco dining! This space is enclosed, ideal for small children to play in and can be easily viewed from the kitchen.

The house is approached by a private drive and provides secure parking for a minimum of three cars.

The following facilities are provided:- televisions, a dvd player, an ipod docking station and cd player together with a box of family games, ordnance survey maps and full wifi within the cottage.
