 Welcome to Mrs Bests Holiday Cottage, a beautiful ham stone cottage set in the pretty village of Compton Pauncefoot in the heart of the West Country. This luxury self catering accommodation has the feel of a country house in a spacious cottage setting. Sleeping up to eight people, the stylishly renovated house consists of three good sized bedrooms and two family bathrooms upstairs together with further bedroom accommodation on the ground floor ideal for two children or an older adult. This bedroom has the benefit of a downstairs shower room/wc. There is also a large kitchen/diner and a comfortable sitting room. There is a front lawn and south facing enclosed patio overlooking the neighbouring field. The cottage has a private drive providing secure parking for at least three cars.
Compton Pauncefoot is a small village made up of approximately 35 houses, including a gothic castle, a 15th Century church, a Wellington Crescent, a Manor House and a Georgian Rectory. There are numerous excellent pubs as well as the Chapel Tea Room, in close proximity to the cottage, by either an easy walk or short drive; the Dorset/Devon coast and historical towns of Sherborne, Bath and Wells can also be easily reach by car.
