Air Passenger Duty

From 1 April 2013, Air Passenger Duty (APD) has been extended to include private jets and other smaller aircraft. This means that if you operate an aircraft with an authorised take off weight of 5.7 tonnes or more, which takes off from a UK airport carrying chargeable passengers, you will be required to register for APD within 7 days of the flight occurring, and to account for APD.
